How to get from Sofia Airport to the hotel?

There is a taxi stand at the airport, so you can easily take a taxi.

Please note that the taxi company does not accept card payments. You can exchange some cash.

Other option is to use the subway (Sofia Metro) https://www.metrosofia.com/en/sofia-airport which has a stop right in front of the hotel. You can take it from Terminal 2 and you should get off on Serdika https://www.metrosofia.com/en/maps#pid=3 The trip is about 30 minutes.

Subway tips

In Bulgarian language subway is called ‘metro’. The stations are marked with the letter M and an arrow pointing down.

Single Subway ticket cost 1.60 BGN / 0.82 EUR / 0.79 USD

Tickets can be bought from ticket machines or at the cashier’s desk at the entrances of the metro stations. Cards are accepted, but the machines are not always working.

The ticket should be validated at the barriers at the entrance to the metro stations.

Credit / debit cards can also be validated at the barriers at the entrance to the metro stations instead of a ticket.

The tickets are valid to travel in the metro within 30 minutes from the issue hour.
